UX is everywhere. Or at least, it should be!
Maybe you are familiar with this story: your company is working on an application that you want to sell to your clients. Your clients are satisfied with the application, but it is not very user-friendly. You know that you need to do better, but how? The developers in your company mainly focus on building the application. Often, they also need to design the application, though they don’t really know how to give an application a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing design. If there is a designer within your team, he often focuses on aesthetics, but he hasn’t got the knowledge or time to delve deeper into user-friendliness.
Do you recognise your company or team in this?
What your organisation needs to solve this problem is UX Design. A UX Designer knows what your business wants, but most importantly: he knows what your final user wants. This is important, since it’s the final user who will use your application and will judge its success. Most companies don’t have an elaborate team of designers, and there is not always room for a UX Designer. However, having a UX Designer can have great value for your company. This workshop provides the ideal solution for your problem: it is designed to put your team on the right path when it comes to UX, so you have the right expertise when it comes to designing your applications. During this training, we will show you how to get started with UX, how to implement a UX strategy, and we will show you the pitfalls of UX. Moreover, we will not only focus on consumer mobile apps or websites, but mainly on the functional applications you deal with daily, like business or enterprise applications.
Upon completion of this course, participants will have a solid foundation to get started with UX Design. However, you can’t expect to be a fully experienced UX Designer after one workshop, though you will have a general idea about how to tackle UX Design in the future, combined with handy tips and tricks you can use in the field.
