Luna & Fango Tango Quartet
Chamber Tango Quartet formed by Gabriela Maceira (voice), Paola Siervo (piano), Sandra Valdovinos (violin), and Matias Borinelli (Clarinet), who has developed their individual activities during many years and nowadays has decided to join their talents with all the challenge of producing a mixture of styles always putting into action the passion of music paying tribute to the beat of each corner of Buenos Aires.
Our repertoire offers a tour of classical or modern, with original musical arrangements in chamber versión, echoes of great figures, such as Eladia Blázquez, Horacio Ferrer, Aníbal Troilo and Astor Piazzolla. Also approaching other brushstrokes, sounds, aromas, which are part of our identity and perfume the tango with other colours.
In 2016, and 2019 they won “Musica en Bares Notables” Competition, organized by the Commission for the Protection and Promotion of Cafes, Bars, Billiards and Notable Confectionery of the City of Buenos Aires (CBN), to be part of the Cultural Programming.
In 2017 and 2018 they were invited to participate in the " Tango nuestro por el mundo" Festival, and they made a tour around Ecuador Republic. The International Festival "TANGO nuestro por el mundo”, is organized by the production of Tango Nuestro together with the Argentine Embassy in Ecuador and it has the support of the Ministry of Culture and it is considered the most important tango event in the country.
During the Ecuador tour, they were invited to play on board of “La Fragata Libertad” in Guayaquil and in Quito to perform in a ceremony in honor of Gardel, where his monument was held at Plaza Argentina in Quito. Both presentations were attended by the Argentine Ambassador in Ecuador, the ambassadors of Cuba, the United States and Peru, as well as members of the diplomatic corps of different countries.
They performed in "Piazzolla Marplatense Festival", which took place in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province.
In October 2018 they were selected to represent our country in the "11th World Tango Summit", which was held for the first time in the African continent, also they made an European tour presenting "Amalgama" their first album.
In March 2020 they will participate in one of the most famous Tango Festival in the World “Granada Tango Festival”.
